Paul Ashley Joins the APBD Research Foundation’s Board of Directors

The APBD Research Foundation is delighted to announce that Paul Ashley has joined the Board of Directors.
Paul is based in Calgary and has more than 25 years of sales and account management experience.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the Board of Directors. He brings extensive business development and strategic communications skills and his personal journey with APBD,” said co-founder and co-president Emil Weiss.
Weiss added, “Growing our Board of Directors is an important part of our strategic plan. We look forward to working with Paul in this new capacity.”
Paul was misdiagnosed for many years before learning that APBD was the cause of the many symptoms he was experiencing. By connecting with the Foundation, Paul met other patients while learning about better managing his symptoms and the treatment potential that the research suggests.
Paul shared, “I am honored to join such an impactful team and will strive to support the Foundation’s mission in any way I can. I want to reduce the diagnostic odyssey of other patients, and, of course, see treatments for all of us facing APBD.”
