On September 18-19, the APBD Research Foundation hosted its virtual 2024 APBD Scientific & Community Conference, with over 200 participants from 15 countries. The event brought together researchers, healthcare providers, industry partners, and individuals affected by APBD to share insights and advance research. Attendees heard about progress in science, therapy development, and clinical research, while patients and caregivers shared experiences and collaboration opportunities.
2022 APBD Scientific & Community Conference
On May 11-12, 2022, over 140 attendees joined the APBD Research Foundation for the 2022 APBD Scientific & Community Conference. The virtual event brought together researchers, healthcare providers, industry partners, and individuals affected by APBD to share insights and accelerate research. Presentations covered progress in diagnosis, clinical care, therapeutic development, and research on disease prevalence, natural history, and biomarkers.
