On September 18-19, over 200 attendees joined the 2024 APBD Scientific & Community Conference. The virtual event brought together stakeholders in the APBD community – researchers, health care providers, industry partners, and individuals and family members impacted by APBD – to connect, share, and accelerate APBD and allied diseases research.
During the two-day event, attendees heard from clinicians and researchers who discussed advances in foundational science, therapeutic development, and clinical research. Patients and caregivers shared their lived experiences, while community members highlighted areas of much-needed collaboration.
Our Conference featured 40 guest speakers, including researchers, clinicians, patients, caregivers, advocates, industry partners, and regulatory agency representatives.
