RARE DISEASE COMMUNITY SURVEY

Dr. Denise Adams at the University of Pennsylvania is studying the needs of communities affected by rare diseases with the hope of bridging the gaps between rare disease patients, families, and physicians. Although each of the 7,000+ rare diseases appear different, they share common needs. If you're over 18 years of age, have APBD, or are a family member and/or a caregiver in our community, Dr. Adams seeks your input on this study called the NARRATE Study.

This year we have developed articles and resources with the help of contributing writers -- health care professionals and patient advocates in the field -- aimed at providing a better understanding of APBD and about the work being done in the field.
